Author Guidelines

Primary authors of abstracts will recieve all communication regarding their abstract/paper. Committee decisions regarding abstracts will be sent to primary authors via email in early February.

If you receive notification that your paper has been accepted for presentation at the 67th JPM / PIB / 46th SMBS / 42nd PEDCS / 33rd RNTS / 31st SEPS / 14th MSS Joint Subcommittee Meeting, the information needed to successfully format, complete, and submit your paper - along with important deadline information - will be provided on this page. Please refer to this site often for program updates and author alerts.

We strongly recommend visiting the Author Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) where you'll find information about distribution statements, making changes to your paper title or author list, how to complete the Publication Clearance Form, withdrawing a paper, presenter registration for the meeting, a list of contacts, and much, much more.

Papers

JANNAF adheres to its "no paper, no podium" policy. Papers are due on Monday, 20 April 2020. There is no page limit. You may provide an unlimited number of authors on your final paper.

Presentations

Presentations are due on Monday, 4 May 2020. If your paper is accepted, please plan to submit your presentation by the due date to ensure the best outcome. Be aware that limited assistance will be available onsite and that presentations submitted at the meeting will be uploaded to the session laptop as-is.

Thirty minutes, unless noted in the program, is allotted for presentations and includes a post-presentation question/answer and discussion period.

Publication Clearance Form

Publication clearance forms must be submitted for all accepted papers and presentations. A single form should be submitted for each paper and the related presentation. Forms are due on Monday, 20 April 2020, and should be submitted per the upload instructions, posted under Author Links on the left side of this page.

Author Reminders

If you receive notification that your abstract has been accepted, be sure to note due dates for paper, presentation, publication clearance form, and registration in your calendar!

Make sure you have an active JANNAF Secure Portal Account a.s.a.p. More info can be found on the Author FAQ page.

Start EARLY--allow at least two to three weeks for completion of your internal and/or customer review process! It is not unusual for the review process to take 6 weeks, so be sure to plan accordingly.
