Below you will find the information needed to successfully format, complete, and submit your presentation. Please refer to this site often for program updates and author alerts.

Information on this page has been updated to reflect guidelines specific to the DoD approved Microsoft Teams platform that will be used to conduct this meeting's sessions.

Policies Regarding Presentations:

  • Presentation due date is based on the week during which it is being presented. Presentation date will be provided in acceptance notification email. The FIRM deadlines for submitting presentations and Publication Clearance Forms are:
    • Week 1 Presenters (6 - 10 December)
      Presentation and Publication Clearance Form due NO LATER THAN
      Monday, 29 November 2021.
    • Week 2 Presenters (13 - 16 December)
      Presentation and Publication Clearance Form due NO LATER THAN
      Monday, 6 December 2021.
  • Submitting presentations and Clearance Forms late may be grounds for removal from the agenda.
  • All presentations, unless otherwise noted in the program, are scheduled for 25 minutes plus a 5-minute post-presentation Q&A period.
    Note: We will be adhering strictly to the final session agenda start/end times for presentations.
  • Basic formatting guidelines:
    • Do not use video, animations, audio, or slide transitions in your presentation. This could result in lag and other performance issues during presentation delivery.
    • Presentations may be submitted in either PowerPoint or PDF format.
    • Presentation file size should be kept as small as possible, with a maximum file size of 30 MB.
  • A Publication Clearance Form must be submitted along with the presentation.

NOTE: You must have an active JANNAF Secure Portal Account in order to submit a presentation, paper, or Publication Clearance Form.

Deadlines for this meeting are FIRM to ensure that ERG has sufficient time to vet your presentation file and Publication Clearance Form. If your paper is accepted, please plan to submit your presentation by the due date to ensure the best outcome. Presentations received less than one (1) business day prior to the start of your session may be removed from the agenda. The JANNAF policy for this virtual meeting will be "No presentation, No publication clearance form, No virtual podium."

NOTE: If you need to submit an updated presentation file, please know that updates cannot be accommodated less than one (1) business day prior to your scheduled presentation.

IMPORTANT:

  • Do NOT use videos or animations in your presentation.

  • Maximum file size is 30 MB.

Presentation length: 25 minutes unless otherwise noted in the program, plus 5-minute post-presentation Q&A period. Note that we will be adhering strictly to the final session agenda.

Publication:

  • Presentations will be published in the JANNAF Digital Online Collection (JDOC) if a paper is not submitted.
  • A Publication Clearance Form must be submitted along with the presentation.
  • If a paper is later submitted, it will replace the presentation in JDOC.
  • Presentations and associated papers may have different distribution statements. Papers with a different distribution statement than the associated presentation must be accompanied by a separate Publication Clearance Form (see important note below).

  • Note:When submitting a second Publication Clearance Form, please combine both forms (the original form submitted with your presentation and the new form for your paper) into one folder and compress or "zip" that folder prior to uploading. This will prevent the new form from overwriting the original form submitted.
