DoD Teams Testing Sessions

The DoD approved Microsoft Teams meeting platform will be utilized to conduct the JANNAF December meeting sessions. It meets DoD security requirements for presentation and discussion of ITAR-restricted material (IL5 compliant), and has DoD-wide approvals and authorizations for configuration and use. During JANNAF virtual sessions, live Q&A will be facilitated as time permits; guidance will be provided during each session.

NOTE: Dial-in participation by phone is NOT supported for this meeting. All attendees should plan to use their Chromium-based web browser (Microsoft Edge Chromium or Google Chrome) to open links for meeting sessions in order to participate. Success joining sessions using your Teams app cannot be guaranteed.

Since audio via phone is not an option, all presenters and Session Chairs should be sure to use a device with an internal microphone, or connect an external microphone to their device (for example, a headset or headphones with a microphone) to ensure that they can be heard during their presentation/session.

To help participants confirm their device meets technology requirements, identify technical issues, and become familiar with the DoD approved Teams platform, DoD Teams Testing Sessions for registered attendees will be conducted on the following dates and times:

Date

Time

Wednesday, 1 December 2021

1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. EST

Thursday, 2 December 2021

1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. EST

All attendees, presenters, and Session Chairs are strongly urged to join one of these test sessions to verify the following:

  • You are able to log in and join the session
  • Your audio settings are correct
  • You are able to identify any issues early enough for your local IT staff to provide support

ERG is unable to assist with issues specific to your computer, network, or organization IT policies. These matters must be addressed by the user with your local IT support.

Each testing session is 1.5 hours long but you may join at any point during the indicated time range. This should take roughly 5 to 10 minutes of your time and is well worth it.

How to Join a Testing Session

After submitting this online form, please allow up to three business days to receive an email confirming your access to the Small Team page, and providing instructions for viewing the testing session access information within it. This link will only work if you are currently logged in to your JANNAF Portal Account AND you have already received your Small Team confirmation email after completing your Meeting Registration Form.
