The unclassified portion of the June 2022 meeting will be held at the Newport News Marriott at City Center in Newport News, Virginia. The hotel will serve as the location of all sleeping rooms for JANNAF attendees, as well. The hotel is also just 15 minutes from NASA Langley Research Center where classified sessions will be held.
Newport News is located in the Tidewater region of Virginia. In addition to being near NASA Langley Research Center, other nearby points of interest include the waterfront city of Norfolk, historic Williamsburg, and Virginia Beach. The area is rich with historical points of interest such as Jamestown and Yorktown (in addition to Williamsburg), a variety of museums including the Virginia Air and Space Center and the U.S. Army Transportation Museum, and so much more.
In addition to the City Center restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, Styron Square in Port Warwick is just a six minute drive from the hotel and offers more options for those with a car. There are even more choices, ranging from fast food to fine dining, within a 10 minute drive of the hotel.
