Author Guidelines

If you receive notification that your paper has been accepted for presentation, below you will find the information needed to successfully format, complete, and submit your paper for the 63rd JPM / PIB / 47th CS / 35th APS / 35th EPSS / 29th PSHS Joint Subcommittee Meeting, along with important deadline information. Please refer to this site often for program updates and author alerts.

Papers

JANNAF adheres to its "no paper, no podium" policy. Please submit your paper, presentation, and paper/presentation clearance form by the specified deadline (refer to the Author Timeline, below). See the Paper/Presentation Guidelines for useful information when preparing your paper. A template for formatting your paper is available for download here. Papers are due on Monday, 18 April 2016.

Presentations

Thirty minutes, unless noted in the program, is allotted for your presentation and includes a post-presentation question/answer and discussion period. The information contained in the Paper/Presentation Guidelines will assist you in preparing your presentation. A tutorial on saving presentations in the proper format can be found here. Please note that limited assistance will be available onsite and that presentations submitted at the meeting will be uploaded to the session laptop as-is. Presentations are due on Monday, 2 May 2016.

Paper/Presentation Clearance Form

Paper/presentation clearance forms are due on Monday, 18 April 2016. Click on Paper/Presentation Clearance Form to download the required form. The clearance form must include the applicable distribution statement and the appropriate signature. Please call JHU WSE ERG at (410) 992-7300 if you need assistance completing this form; papers cannot be presented without the completed form. Please note that if a revised paper is submitted, a revised paper clearance form is required.

Distribution Statement Generator

Unclassified papers are required to have an accurate distribution statement on the first page of the manuscript; classifed manuscripts require the distribution statement to be included on all pages. Click on the Distribution Statement Generator to answer a few brief questions and generate your distribution statement, which can then be cut and pasted into your document.

Withdraw a Paper

If circumstances force you to withdraw your paper, please inform both your session chair and Shelley Cohen as soon as possible at scohen@erg.jhu.edu.

Registration/Remittance

All authors must register and pay the registration fee in order to attend the meeting and present his/her paper. Registration is a two-part process--payment via the online remittance site, and registration via the JANNAF Secure Portal. This information can be found in the Registration section of this website.
