JANNAF December 2017 Meeting - Keynote Announced; DoD Travel Guidelines

 
Keynote Presenter Announced
We are pleased to announce the selection of Mr. Thomas L. Boggs as the Keynote presenter at the December JANNAF meeting. Currently working as a scientist with Naval Systems, Incorporated in China Lake, his caree has spanned 54 years in the propulsion field. The title of Mr. Boggs' talk is “Fifty Four Years at China Lake - Lessons Learned.” In addition to addressing some important lessons learned during his career, his recent work on hazards associated with solid propellants and explosives will also be discussed. Get Up-to-date Meeting Information
Updated versions of the Meeting Invitation and Preliminary Program for the December meeting have been uploaded to the meeting website today; these reflect several recent program changes, as well as information about the Keynote presentater. The Meeting Invitation is Distribution A and may be downloaded directly; however, the Preliminary Program is limited distribution and requires login to your JANNAF Secure Portal account. DoD Travel Guidelines and Sanctioned Event Memo Posted
We have received travel guidelines that all DoD participants in the December JANNAF meeting should review and follow. Please click here to download the guidelines. The DoD travel guidelines have also been posted on the Home page, the Hotel page, and the Registration page of the meeting website. 
 
We have also posted a memo from AFRL/RQ for the December JANNAF meeting stating it as a sanctioned DoD event. You can locate it on the Home page and Registration page, or click here to download the memo.
 
Still Need a Hotel Reservation?
The JANNAF discounted rooms are currently sold out at the Newport News Marriott at City Center. If you haven’t made your reservation yet, we will post an alternate hotel for discounted overflow rooms on the Hotel page of the meeting website as soon as arrangements have been finalized. This information should be available by 7 November 2017.
 
Register Before Fee Increase
Take advantage of the lowest registration fee and register by 20 November. Now is the time to make sure you have an active JANNAF Secure Portal account (registration pre-requisite). Once you have activated your Portal account, log in to complete the brief online Registration form. There is no financial commitment with these two steps. You'll find links and instructions on the Registration page of the meeting website.
