Poster Information

The June JANNAF Meeting program includes a poster session to be held during the Networking Hour on 3 June in Grand Ballroom 1 at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown. 

 

The following guidance applies to all accepted poster presentations. 

 

Requirements

  • In addition to ensuring a physical copy of your poster is present at the poster sessions, you are also responsible for:
    • Providing a signed and completed JANNAF Publication Clearance Form for your poster no later than 1 May.
    • Providing a digital (pdf) copy of your poster no later than 15 May.
      This file is for JDOC publication. ERG will not print your poster on your behalf.
  • Unlike presentations in standard technical sessions, papers are optional for poster presentations. Optional papers are due no later than 1 May
  • Posters may not be marked at a more restrictive level than Unclassified and Distribution Statement C or CUI FEDCON.
  • Poster creation is the responsibility of the author and is not available through JANNAF.
  • An active JANNAF Portal Account is needed in order to submit a poster, paper, and Publication Clearance Form.

 

Session Details

Location: Grand Ballroom 1 at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown

Set-up Time: Wednesday, 3 June, from 3–4 p.m.

Session Time: Wednesday, 3 June, from 5:30–7 p.m.
Presenters must stay beside their poster for the duration of the session.

ERG will store posters securely overnight after the session/Networking Hour, and display them Thursday, 4 June, in the Registration area from 7 a.m.–12 p.m. Presenters do not need to stay beside their posters during this display period.

Breakdown Time: Thursday, 4 June, from 12–1:30 p.m.

 

Formatting

  • Suggested size: 24 x 36 inches
    Maximum size: 36 x 48 inches
  • Suggested material: foam board
  • Orientation can be either landscape or portrait

Delivery Options

Presenters have three options for transporting posters to the meeting:

 

Print in Pittsburgh

If your poster is approved for public release and you are able to print your poster through FedEx Office, the nearest FedEx Office Print & Ship location is a 9-minute walk from the Wyndham.

Ship to Pittsburgh

Shipping mounted posters is not advised due to the likelihood of damage in transit. Neither the hotel nor ERG is responsible for posters damaged during shipping.

Poster shipping instructions will vary based on the hotel at which you are staying. Detailed guidance is included in the Poster Guidelines.

Hand Carry

Paper posters can be hand carried to the meeting and pinned to a blank foam board (available by request only) for presentation.
