JANNAF December 2026 Meeting
The December 2026 JANNAF meeting will be held
Monday–Friday, 7–11 December 2026 in Hampton, Virginia.
Unclassified sessions will be held at the Hampton Roads Convention Center.
Classified sessions will be held at NASA Langley Research Center.
This meeting includes the:
- 54th Combustion (CS)
- 42nd Airbreathing Propulsion (APS)
- 42nd Exhaust Plume and Signatures (EPSS)
- 36th Energetic Systems Hazards (ESHS)

The U.S. DoW has provided travel approval guidance for JANNAF attendees.
The overall security level of this meeting is SECRET due to the inclusion of Classified sessions in the program.
To be eligible to attend this meeting, all attendees must both:
- have an active JANNAF account (apply here), and
- register to attend.
To be eligible to attend Classified sessions, in addition to the above requirements, attendees must also:
- possess, at minimum, a SECRET U.S. Security Clearance with a need-to-know in the areas of rocket, missile, space, or gun propulsion; and
- complete additional requirements listed below no later than 13 November.

Prerequisite
To attend any JANNAF Meeting, you must have an active JANNAF account.
Unclassified Sessions
To attend Unclassified Sessions:
- Confirm JANNAF account is active (Prerequisite)
- Submit your meeting registration form (login required)
- Pay for your registration (no account needed)
Classified Sessions
13 November- Last day to submit Registration form and VAR or Security Clearance Certification Form - No Exceptions.
Registration payment required before badge can be picked up onsite
To add Classified Sessions to your registration, you must:
- Complete requirements for Unclassified registration
- Complete additional Classified registration requirement based on your employer
DOD Employees ONLY: Submit a Visit Authorization Request (VAR) via DISS. Search SMO Name: 0W2X85; click SMO Name: 0W2X8-Johns Hopkins University-2.
All other attendees: Complete and submit the Security Clearance Certification Form (login required)

*Student Registration Fee Eligibility:
- Full-time undergraduate or graduate students
- Full-time interns and cooperative education students
Required Student Proof:
- Official documentation from your University indicating the semester during which the meeting will occur; the number of credit hours registered; and the number of credit hours considered full-time by your University for the applicable semester and student type (i.e., undergraduate, graduate, etc.).
We do not accept certificates from the National Student Clearinghouse unless the other required information listed above is also provided.

Government Purchase Order
Completed Govt. P.O.s must be received by 6 November to qualify for early registration price, or 20 November to qualify for regular registration price.
Govt P.O.s will not be accepted for late registration payment.
Cancellation and Substitution Policy
Cancellations received in writing on or before Friday, 6 November will receive a full refund minus an administrative fee of $75.00. Cancellations made after Friday, 6 November will not be refunded.
Substitutes are welcome as long as the request for substitution is from the original attendee, attendance eligibility is appropriately met by the substitute, and the original and substitute attendee are from the same organization.

The Hampton Roads Convention Center is adjacent to the Embassy Suites by Hilton Hampton Convention Center, resulting in a short walk from the hotel to the Unclassified session meeting space.
If you need to drive to Unclassified sessions, the convention center offers free parking in their lot.
Meeting Site for Classified Sessions
NASA Langley Research Center
Shuttle bus service will be provided on a very limited schedule in order to adhere to NASA security policy. The bus will make one trip to NASA before the start of the morning session and one trip back to the Convention Center after the afternoon session ends. If you plan to attend both Classified and Unclassified sessions on the same day and need greater flexibility, you will need to arrange for your own transportation so that you can come and go as you please. Ample free parking is available near the venue.
Only those who have completed registration for the JANNAF meeting and the additional step for Classified sessions will be permitted on the shuttle bus, provided with driving directions to the NASA LaRC facility, or granted entry into the location where Classified sessions will be held.
