JANNAF is interested in offering more opportunities for Early Career Propulsion and Energetics Professionals to engage with one another and the overall JANNAF community. We will be holding the inaugural Early Career Poster session on Tuesday, 10 December, the time is TBD. Poster abstracts will only be accepted from Early Career professionals.

In order to be considered an Early Career Professional, you must be one of the following:

  • A student
  • Working in the field for less than five years
  • Have obtained your Doctorate within the last five years
If you meet the above criteria of an Early Career Professional, you are eligible to submit a poster abstract for any of the subcommittees on the Meeting Focus page. When submitting, choose “Early Career Poster” in place of selecting a Mission Area within your preferred subcommittee.

Below you will find some basic information about posters for this JANNAF meeting.

Papers are optional for early career posters. This is NOT the case for abstracts submitted/accepted for oral presentation in a standard technical session.

Once Program Planning Committee decisions have been sent to authors in mid-August, this page will be updated with important resources for Presentation preparation. Please refer to this site often for program updates and author alerts.

Resources for poster preparation can be found on the left side of this page under Author Links when acceptance notices are distributed, and will include:

  • Poster Guidelines (PDF)
  • Distribution Statement Generator
  • Upload Instructions for Posters, Publication Clearance Forms and optional Papers - login to your JANNAF Secure Portal account required to upload files.
