Below you will find the information needed to successfully format, complete, and submit your paper. Please refer to this site often for program updates and author alerts.

Policy Regarding Papers:

  • Papers are due on Friday, 5 April 2024. Please note the following exception: student papers that have indicated an interest in being considered for the Best Student Paper award are due on Friday, 15 March.
  • Papers are required for JANNAF meetings.
  • The JANNAF policy of "No paper, No podium" will be in effect for this meeting.
  • Pre-publication papers will be made available in the virtual Reading Room during the meeting for attendee access.
  • Papers will be published in the JANNAF Digital Online Collection (JDOC) after the meeting.
  • A JANNAF Publication Clearance Form must be submitted along with the paper.
  • Papers and associated Presentations can have different distribution statements. The paper and presentation may share a Publication Clearance Form if the information and signature provided on the form apply equally to both.

NOTE: You must have an active JANNAF Secure Portal Account in order to submit a paper, presentation, and Publication Clearance Form.

Preparing Papers:

  • There is no page limit.
  • You may provide an unlimited number of authors on your final paper.
  • Each paper must be marked appropriately according to the Distribution Statement and CUI designation indicated on its respective JANNAF Publication Clearance Form.
  • The paper and presentation may share a Publication Clearance Form if the information and signature provided on the form apply equally to both.
  • Resources for Paper preparation can be found on the left side of the screen, and include:

Publication:

  • Pre-publication papers that are publicly releasable, DoD Distribution Statement C, or CUI/FEDCON, will be made available in the virtual Reading Room during the meeting
  • Papers submitted for this meeting will be published in the JANNAF Digital Online Collection (JDOC) within 12 weeks following the conclusion of the meeting
  • Papers with distribution statement B, D, or E will be included in JDOC with meta-data only.
